San Gregorio hermitage
San Gregorio hermitage is in the village of Monreal del Campo and was opened in September 1895.
The building was made using rammed earth on a masonry plinth, with a single nave covered by a gabled roof. The façade features a semicircular brick doorway and the central oculus crowning it. The interior contains the remains of a pottery depicting San Gregorio.
It was once owned by Miguel de Mateo, who commissioned the building on the site of an earlier hermitage although, today, it is in ruins.
The festival in honour of this saint takes place on 9 May.
