Barranco de los judíos viaduct
The viaduct over the Barranco de los Judíos ravine is approximately 50 m long and features three arches. Like other bridges along the railway line built by the Compañía Minera de Sierra Menera from its Ojos Negros mine to the port of Sagunto, its construction is of stonework with the stones integrated into the surrounding landscape. The viaduct is fitted a metal railing on both sides, which is in good condition.
The bridge crosses the Barranco de los Judíos ravine, and is considerably longer than others in the area. The particular orography of the terrain at this point means that the viaduct has a certain curvature. As happened in other points along the disused railway line, which stopped running in 1972, today this section of the track has been restored as part of the network Nature Trails that offers walkers and cyclists alike to enjoy this little piece of history.
