Santa Bárbara hermitage
The Santa Bárbara hermitage is a small, very simple temple with a single nave and a rectangular floor plan.
This robust-looking building was constructed using masonry, as well as ashlars for the corner part. It has a gabled roof and a single nave with a polygonal chancel. From the exterior, access is through a simple doorway made with two monolithic jambs on which corbels and lintels, which are also monolithic, are supported. This doorway is on one of the side walls, on the epistle side, on which the image of Santa Bárbara stands out.
The main festivities in Villar del Salz take place on the third weekend in August in honour of its patron saint, Santa Bárbara.
