Bridge where the donkey fell and was not killed
This short railway bridge with a long, curious name, draws a smile from all visitors to the area. This viaduct is part of the infrastructures belonging to the railway line that ran between the Ojos Negros mine, operated by the Compañía Minera de Sierra Menera - also responsible for the start-up of this railway line - and the port of Sagunto, for the subsequent distribution of raw materials.
It consists of a single arch built with stone blocks, under which the pedestrian path crosses, taking advantage of the excavation in the ground. The vertical walls are covered with a metal mesh to prevent the detachment of loose earth from the walls and there are stone walls in the closest areas and under the bridge.
