Mataburros bridge
Mataburros Bridge is a small railway bridge on the railway line connecting the Ojos Negros mine and the port of Sagunto. The Compañía Minera de Sierra Menera built it to take its raw materials to the port for subsequent distribution.
Its structure is very similar to that of the other viaducts along the route of this disused railway line, as it is built from blocks of stone and ashlar masonry, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and has a metal railing attached to both sides. The walls of the ravine next to it are reinforced with a wall made of the same stone blocks used for the bridge.
The abundant vegetation surrounding this small aqueduct is also noteworthy.
