Shrine of San Juan
The Shrine of San Juan is a Romanesque temple built in the 12th century, although it has been reformed on several occasions since then. The Shrine of San Juan boasts a privileged location, perched on a hill on the edge of the municipality of Revilla del Campo, affording spectacular views of the Alarzón valley that stretches out on the horizon. The church has a rectangular ground plan, a semicircular apse and a hipped roof. Particularly striking is how well worked the stone is. The shrine also features a semicircular arch, simple corbels in the apse and loophole windows.
