St. Andrew's Church
St. Andrew's Church was originally built in the 13th century. It was built in the late Romanesque style and is structured around a single nave, which still preserves its western gable, southern wall, and two pillars. It was subsequently added onto between the 15th and 18th centuries, and its floor plan is made up of two naves with star-shaped ribbed vaults, formerets, and barrel arches.
Noteworthy outside is its doorway, formed by pointed archivolts, which leads to the interior of the church through the arcades of a portico.
Inside you will see several 18th century baroque altarpieces and two 15th century arched tombs, where the resting figures of Pedro Fernandez "Vicar" and another Pedro Fernandez, the former Abbot of Cartañeda, are represented.
