Parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Our Lady of the Assumption)
Located on the outskirts of the village, the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Our Lady of the Assumption) is the most remarkable monument,
It is a Gothic style church from 1526, built in ashlar masonry, with some Renaissance elements that were included in later renovations.
It has a nave with lateral chapels, a single belfry over the triumphal arch and buttresses. Its tower has a square floor plan and is made up of three sections. It is open plan with two arches located on the east and west facades and with one on the north and south facades.
The doorway opens on the south side, with semicircular archivolts, niche and crucifix, and is protected by a portico open on three sides with semicircular arches.
The building's interior is vaulted and houses an interesting collection of altarpieces, including the main altarpiece, with 16th century figures and reliefs from the Francisco Giralte school.
Inside its enclosure you will find the remains of what could be a conjuradero de nublos (cloud conjuring place), an atypical construction that is very interesting from an ethnographic and historical point of view, which was used to keep away or attract storms depending on the needs of the crops.
