Lara river
This is a small riverbed that rises in the heart of the province of Burgos in the vicinity of the municipality of Torrelara. This modest river flows through a privileged natural environment, forming small lagoons at some points until it ends its route in the municipality of Revilla del Campo, where the waters of the Lara join those of the Los Ausines River, which bathes a large part of this region and which for centuries has been essential for the development of the area. However, during the summer months it is possible that the flow of the Lara may dry up due to the scarcity of rainfall in the area during the summer.
