Chapel of San Cristóbal
The town of Brizuela boasts typical Castilian architecture evolved since the 16th century. Some houses are built with stone taken directly from the surrounding mountains and from the small, abandoned quarry near the village.
The chapel of San Cristóbal, a small chapel of Romanesque construction typical of the region, stands out. Its walls are made of masonry and culminate in a gabled roof made of tiles. Some small openings and buttresses can be seen along the walls.
The façade is located on one side. Access to the church is through a small doorway surrounded by a semicircular arch with large voussoirs. The relief of a Latin cross is particularly striking on the basal voussoir.
Next to the entrance is another door that leads to a small Campo Santo (cemetery).
