San Julián
San Julián, or San Xuyán in Asturian, along with the villages of Lludeiros and Villalmarzo, make up the parish of Villalmarzo (El Franco).
About 8.5 km from A Caridad, the capital of the municipality, San Julián has 16 houses. The primary occupation of its residents revolves around cattle farming and milk production, which has resulted in a gradual reduction of the wooded areas in the area, a trend further influenced by the local timber industry. Consequently, efforts have been made to counterbalance this impact through reforestation initiatives, predominantly with eucalyptus.
