Cereijeira
In the parish of Grandas de Salime, just over 2 km from the capital of the municipality, is the village of Cereijeira, traditionally known as Cereixeira.
As in the rest of the villages in this parish, the economy is based on the primary sector, with livestock farming being the main activity. In recent years, there has been a notable growth in rural tourism in the area.
This village stands at an altitude of 650 m and has some 14 houses. The Way of St. James is close by and there are some vestiges of the castreña culture. The Ethnographic Museum in the capital, Grandas de Salime, offers more information about the local culture.
