Robledo
Robledo is a small village situated within the parish of Anayo, in the Piloña municipality. The village boasts a natural environment characterised by diverse and lush vegetation. Large extensions of forests dominated by oak, beech, chestnut, and eucalyptus trees make up the landscape. There are also walnut and apple trees, for the production of cider. The village's surroundings also feature numerous meadows used for extensive livestock farming.
In Robleda there are several elements of traditional architecture typical to the region, Robledo showcases several hórreos and paneras (granaries on stilts). The cultural heritage of the broader council is complemented by the Chapel of Our Lady of los Remedios. Originally built in the 18th century in honour of San Isidro Labrador (Saint Isidore the Farmer), the chapel later became dedicated to Our Lady of los Remedios whose festivities take place on the first Sunday of September.
