Casa del Agua (Water House)
The Casa del Agua is an old stone building that was formerly used to collect water from different springs in the area of Aguamansa, in La Orotava, and then distribute it.
It was of great importance for a long time and is considered a paradigm of the hydraulic infrastructures in the area. Leaving the recreational area of La Caldera de La Orotava and following the forest track that leads to Los Órganos, you will reach this old building, which is still in good condition.
It is also a turning point for several important routes such as the Anaga-Chasna Nature Trail, the Gr 131, the PR TF 35, PR TF 35.1 and PR TF 35.2 (Water Route).
