Teso de la Peña
Teso means a small hill with a flat surface on top.
This teso is located in the municipality of Calvarrasa de Arriba, in the province of Salamanca, located in the region of Campo de Salamanca (Campo Charro).
With a height of 866 m, its steep cliffs are the result of erosion by the river.
At the top of the hill, there is a baroque chapel in honour of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, a bullring dated from the 1st century made of square stone and still used by the locals to celebrate bullfights during their patron saint festivities.
