Mases de Albentosa
Mases de Albentosa is hamlet around the Shrine of La Cueva Santa that is part of the municipality of Albentosa The temple itself is built in whitewashed masonry with ashlars at the corners, consisting of a single nave with three bays with semicircular segmental arches and classic fascia moulding, with a half-barrel vault ceiling with gabled frames. It is worth mentioning the stone pillar located in the hamlet of Mases, which is made up of a stone pillar topped with an iron cross and a carved heart. The rest of the buildings have a markedly rural character and are in keeping with the traditional architecture of the area. In most cases, these are homes whose owners do not occupy them as their primary residence, which gives the area a quiet and peaceful character in the vicinity of the River Albentosa. Nevertheless, there tends to be an increase in the number of inhabitants during the summer period.
