La Toba waterfall
La Toba Waterfall is an impressive waterfall more than 20 m high located in Fuentetoba, a village within the municipality of Golmayo in the province of Soria, just 12 km from the capital.
The spring that gives rise to this spectacular waterfall is located at the source of the River Golmayo. The infiltration of water from rainfall in the mountains adjacent to Fuentetoba forces it to flow at this point forming an abundant and attractive waterfall over the rock formations.
This peaceful and impressive spot is one of the most important hydrological phenomena in the natural environment of the province of Soria. The force with which the water surges between the rocky promontories, as well as the beauty of the surroundings and the vegetation that surrounds the Frentes peak (1,375 m) make the waterfall one of the main attractions of this area.
