La Molina river
This is a riverbed that originates at the confluence of the Los Molinos and Fuente Perales streams in the municipality of La Molina de Ubierna. Its course runs northwards through this region, fed by the course of several torcas, or depressions in the terrain, until, in the municipality of Lermilla, its waters flow into the River Homino. The river has seen a riverside forest develop along its course which, to a greater or lesser extent, provides a valuable ecosystem in this steppe landscape.
