Colegiate church of San Pedro
The Collegiate Church of San Pedro is located in the village of La Plaza and has been declared a National Monument since 1921.
The church dates back to the 11th century, in Romanesque style, and over the years it has undergone numerous modifications, one of the most important of which was commissioned by Diego de Miranda, who, among many other actions, ordered the coat of arms of the Miranda house to be carved on the church.
Currently, it has a single nave made of ashlar masonry with a gabled roof of curved tiles of varying heights and a bell tower topped with a hemispherical dome.
Travellers have the opportunity to visit the spectacular interior of this collegiate church.
