Pont d´en Gil
Marine erosion on the cliffs to the northwest of Ciutadella have produced this unique natural formation that has taken the form of a rock bridge and has become a popular destination.
If you simply want to enjoy the view, it is best to do so from the opposite side of the inlet where it is located, although you can access the rock formation itself and even cross the bridge.
The dimensions of the arch allow small and medium-sized vessels to pass under it, which has become a very frequent activity for companies operating maritime routes in the area.
Pont d'en Gil also attracts many divers, who seek access to Sa Cigonya Cave, a cave that extends some 300 metres below the cliffs and which can only be accessed from underwater (this must be done with appropriate equipment and an experienced guide).
