Pilar Bay

This small shell-shaped bay is located between Els Alocs Bay and Punta des Carregador. Due to its northerly orientation, it gets hit by the force of the waves when the famous Tramuntana blows, although a small islet acts as a partial parapet.

Pilar Bay is a virgin beach that is difficult to access, located in a spectacular natural setting, characterised by reddish and golden sand, clear waters and the presence of clay rocks.

There is a dune system and a forest behind it, located on the "Alfurí de Dalt" estate, which is home to significant natural and ethnological heritage. It has the largest concentration of indigenous plants in Menorca and is a source of drinking water, which is much appreciated by the few local bathers and tourists who come to enjoy the clean water and beautiful scenery.
