An oasis with a Mediterranean character
The Parador de Benicarló is just a few steps away from the beach. It’s a comfortable hotel with a simple decor that offers rooms overlooking the sea. It’s surrounded by an exceptional garden that’s directly connected to the waves and a swimming pool that stays open all summer until October. The Mediterranean cuisine is the star of the dishes produced in our restaurant. There’s no shortage of fish or garden produce, such as the splendid Benicarló artichoke, with its own designation of origin.
Benicarló is a modern maritime city, washed by a blue sea and it enjoys a wonderful climate. Its three beaches, Morrongo, La Caracola and La Mar Xica, are ideal spots for swimming. But there’s also culture. You can visit the Baroque church of San Bartolomé and the City Cultural Museum in Benicarló. And its surroundings are home to the Iberian settlements of Puig de la Nao and Tossa.
