Viaduct
This railway viaduct is a key piece of infrastructure on the railway line connecting the Ojos Negros mine and the port of Sagunto. The Compañía Minera de Sierra Menera built the line to take its raw materials to the port for subsequent distribution.
This viaduct is approximately 30 m long, is made up of three arches and has a very similar structure to the rest of the viaducts found along the route of this disused railway line, as it is built from blocks of stone and ashlar, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and has a metal railing attached to both sides.
As for the ravine over which the viaduct is built, it is not particularly impressive, although its depth is significant compared to its width. The surrounding area is dominated by crops and the ravine crosses an area of moorland that is representative of the landscape of Teruel. A little further on this small viaduct joins the Barranco de la Jaquesa ravine.
