Tolinas
Tolinas is a village in the Asturian parish of Grado, located very close to the source of the river Cubia.
Among the buildings in Tolinas are traditional hórreos and paneras (granaries on stilts) and a public washing place with a fountain and drinking trough.
The church dates back to the 17th-18th centuries and has been renovated several times. There are also two chapels: the chapel of Santa Bárbara and the chapel of Our Lady of La Cabeza, which belongs to the mansion of Los Corros or Casa Corro and houses an 18th century altarpiece.
The chapel of Saint Bárbara has a rectangular floor plan built in masonry and ashlars in the corners, openings and belfry.
Casa Corro is a 17th century manor house with a coat of arms, dovecote, chapel and a 16th century hórreo.
To the south, in the ravines of La Cavadura and Cubia, there is a beech forest that constitutes the largest forest patch in Grado. This enclave forms part of the Pico Caldoveiro Protected Landscape.
In the Sierra del Conto, to the southwest of Tolinas, runs the La Mesa Road, where the necropolis of La Escrita, La Forcada and Peñas Negras can be found.
