Andaluz River
The source of the Andaluz River, also known as Fuentepinilla, is in the town of Torreandaluz. The river then flows into the Duero River in the town of the same name.
The river course in question is one of the Duero Basin's largest contributors of underground runoff, with its base flow originating from Valderrodilla and Torreandaluz.
From the area of Andaluz to San Esteban de Gormaz, the Duero River gains a flow of 4,000 litres per second from large springs.
The Dehesa de Andaluz is the ideal location for the river mouth, situated in La Boquilla. The Andaluz River joins the Duero River on its way to Portugal.
In addition to the enclave's intrinsic value and its natural beauty, it is also home to a rich variety of flora. The area is home to several hundred-year-old ash trees, as well as poplars, oaks and hawthorns.
The area is home to a viewpoint offering unparalleled views of the river Ebro's meanders as they wind through the region.
