Regajo reservoir
The Regajo reservoir is located in the municipality of Jérica, in the province of Castellón. It has a surface area of 82,000 ha and a capacity of 6 hm³. This reservoir has a gravity dam at a height of 23.85 m above the ground, built in 1959 and belonging to the Júcar River Basin Authority. The main water supply comes from the River Palancia, together with the Cascajar ravine.
The privileged location of this reservoir, in a unique natural setting, offers residents and visitors alike a wide variety of activities, ranging from water sports like canoeing and kayaking to climbing and hiking, in a spectacular setting surrounded by pine and riverside forests. There are also picnic areas on the banks of the reservoir.
