Parador de Vilalba
Meeting place on the Way of St. James
History and nature combine in Vilalba. In this quiet town, located on the ’Way of St. James, is the majestic Torre dos Andrade, where the Parador de Vilalba is located. Six magnificent rooms await you in this Medieval tower, which shares space with the Salón de los Andrade, which decorated with coats of arms and wall paintings, and the new Enxebre restaurant at its base. Next to the imposing tower, linked by a beautiful garden, a stone building in the regional style houses the rest of the rooms, the bar, the banqueting restaurant and the common areas, as well as the gym and the wellness area.
Vilalba is an ancient and majestic, a land steeped in legend where the river environment and the plain dominate the landscape. Here you’ll enjoy natural surroundings such as the La Madalena river beach, the medicinal Charca del Alligal, and the banks of the numerous rivers that flow through these lands. Next to the plain and the water is the Serra do Xistral and the Monseivane mountain where you’ll relish losing yourself along rural paths. A little more than 45 minutes away, these lands of Lugo overlook the sea, with such exceptional balconies as the beautiful f Las Catedrales beach, and, closer at hand, the historic-artistic site of Mondoñedo and the historical beauty of Lugo.
