As Talladas
As Talladas is one of the 38 villages within the parish of Santa Eulalia de Oscos, 5.10 km away from it. Also known as Villar de Talladas, this village is officially considered as uninhabited, although one well-preserved inhabited house remains. Two additional half-ruined houses and a small chapel known as the Chapel of Santa María, built using local materials like stone and slate, are also preserved.
Notably, the surrounding depopulated area features a trail known as the Route of the Mine of As Talladas, identified as PR-AS-203. This circular route leads to the Carmina Mine, historically significant as the economic hub of the region. In Roman times, minerals such as lead, iron, and even gold were extracted from the mine. The site was conditioned in 2007 and is now open for visitors.
