Refuge of El Canturrial
The refuge of El Canturrial is a recently refurbished, small hut on the banks of the Arroyo Grande. This river flows into the Duero River 600 metres downstream from this point.
The infrastructure comprises a fireplace and a porch, with a series of benches surrounding it. This provides a convenient resting point for visitors undertaking routes in the area, such as the GR-14 of Soria, which passes by this refuge, or the Natural Path of the Duero.
The El Canturrial resort is situated in a pine forest, which provides the necessary shade to allow guests to escape the sun's rays for a few moments.
